The setting is, however, Greyhawk and not the popular Forgotten Realms world. Unfortunately, the story itself is very linear, and the characters are one-dimensional. Short version: Highly recommended, especially for fans of Andre Norton. Longer review: Quag Keep is vintage Norton with changed identities, mysterious mind-powers, strange worlds to explore, unexpected friendships, and occasional uses of highly formal language for epic moments. It is also a book she appears to have enjoyed writing, and I enjoyed reading.
